After graduating from the Art Institute of Arezzo, Silvia Redditi worked as a trainee in an artistic ceramics workshop, where she got knowledge of the secrets of working with stoneware and porcelain, two particular types of materials for Italian ceramics.
Ten years after starting her working adventure, she set up her own artistic ceramics business in Montevarchi "SPORE CERAMIC STUDIO".

The name of her business is inspired by spores, primordial organisms resistant to environmental adversity. Like SPORES, Silvia's works choose and are chosen by people and places, finding their reason to exist in the space.

Just as everything in nature has a function, so too does every object made in Silvia's workshop retains this peculiarity. Always a witness to an idea, a concept, never gets an end of creating.

Silvia's works are obtained by working stoneware or porcelain on the potter's wheel or in sheet form. They are made by hand or with the help of original molds created in the workshop.
